The Rumjacks at 117 Academy Athens Greece 3-11-18

Το Σαββατο 3-11-2018 οι Αυστραλοι The Rumjacks εμφανιστηκαν ξανα στην Αθηνα στο Academy  Πειραιως 117 για 2η φορα μετα την πρωτη τους επισκεψη το 2016 στο Gagarin.Αγαπουν την Ελλαδα και τους Ελληνες και το δειχνουν στην σκηνη και κατω απο αυτη αφου μετα τη δυναμικη τους εμφανιση στη σκηνη ηρθαν κατω και μιλησαν με τον κοσμο υπογραψαν αυτογραφα και εβγαλαν φωτο μεχρι να φυγουν ολοι οσοι περιμεναν.Μουσικα ειναι σε περιοδια για τον νεο τους δισκο Saint Preserve Us μια δουλεια πιο ωριμη και ακομα πιο ποιοτικη απο τα προηγουμενα αλμπουμ τους που βγηκε για τα 10 χρονια της μπαντας.Τελικα ειναι σαν το παλιο σκωτσεζικο ουισκι που ωριμαζει και δυναμωνει με τα χρονια.Πρωτα ανθρωποι και μετα μουσικοι,ταπεινοι και γελαστοι εχουν κλεψει τις καρδιες των Ελληνων και φανηκε και απο την προσελευση του κοσμου σε Θεσσαλονικη Αθηνα και Πατρα που ειναι sold out.Οπως μου ειπε και ο Frankie ο ιδρυτης της μπαντας, ζουν το ονειρο τους τα τελευταια 10 χρονια και ψαχνονται συνεχως για νεα σχεδια χωρις να επαναπαυθουν στην εφημερη δοξα.Να ευχηθω τα καλυτερα στο γκρουπ και μεχρι την επομενη συναντηση μας Παιξτε Δυνατα.
Last Saturday 3-11-2018 the Australians The Rumjacks played again in Ahtens at Academy Peiraeus 117 for the second time after their first visit in 2016 at Gagarin music space.They love Greece and the Greeks and they show it on the stage and off it as when they finished their smashing gig they came at the crowd talked with the people signed autographs took photos and waited till all the people leave the place.Musically they are on tour for their new album that came for the 10 years of the band.They are like the old malt scottish whiskey who matures and gets stronger as the years pass by.First of all humans then musicians, humble and smiling have stolen Greek's hearts and that shown from the crowds that attended their gigs in Thessaloniki Athens and Patras which is sold out.Frankie the founder of the band told me that they're living their dream the last 10 years and they are looking always for new projects without rest on their temporal glory.I wish the best at the band and till our next meeting Play Loud

Iron Maiden Athens 2018 Iron Maiden Athens 20-7-2018 Για μια ακομα φορα οι Iron Maiden επισκεφτηκαν την Ελλαδα στα πλαισια της περιοδιας τους που αρχισε απο το 2016 με το ονομα Legacy of the Beast.Για σχεδον 2 ωρες εκαναν περιπου 40000 κοσμο να κοπανιεται στον καταιγιστικο ρυθμο τους.Αν και η ταλαιπωρια στο γυρισμο ηταν τεραστια μας εμεινε αυτη η εκρηκτικη εμφανιση.Ο Bruce Dickinson ετρεχε συνεχεια στην εντυπωσιακη σκηνη σαν εφηβος.Ο Steve Harris ακολουθουσε με το εφηβικο ντυσιμο (βερμουδα-τι σερτ-μποτες) και μετα ολοι οι υπολοιποι.Εντυπωσιακη η εναρξη με ενα βρετανικο πολεμικο αεροπλανο spitfire να βγαινει στη σκηνη και τον Bruce ντυμενο πιλοτο να ξεκιναει το Aces High.Η συναυλια ηταν μια αναδρομη της πορειας τους με επιλογες τραγουδιων τους ολων αυτων των 40 χρονων.

 For another time Iron Maiden visited Greece at the end of their tour Legacy Of The Beast that started on 2016.For almost 2 hours made the croud of 40.000 fans to jump up and down with their bombing rhythm,Bruce Dickinson was running through the stage like a teenager Steve Harris was following with his teenage dressing (shorts t-shirt boots)and then the rest of the band.Impressive opening with the british airplane Spitfire on stage and Bruce dressed as a pilot singing Aces High.The concert was a flash back of the bands history with song choices from the 40 years of the band. The Dead Kenedys at Piraeus Academy in Athens Greece 1-7-18

On Sunday 1-7-18 at Piraeus Academy in Athens Greece The Dead Kennedys played for the first time.The concert opened the Greek band Panx Romana with their leading man Frank giving a theatrical performance with acts and great music they roused the crowd which was singing along their songs from 80s till now.Panx Romana are known for their activist action in Greece and the Balkans.

Την Κυριακη 1-7-18 στο Piraeus Academy στην Αθηνα εμφανιστηκαν οι Dead Kennedys για πρωτη φορα στην Αθηνα.Προηγηθηκε η εμφανιση τους στην Θεσσαλονικη την προηγουμενη βραδια.Την συναυλια στην Αθηνα ανοιξαν οι δικοι μας Panx Romana με μπροσταρη τον Frank εδωσαν μια θεατρικη εμφανιση με καυστικους μονολογους και φοβερη μουσικη και απογειωσαν το κοινο που τραγουδουσε δυνατα τα παλια και νεα τραγουδια τους απο τη δεκαετια των 80 μεχρι σημερα για μιαμιση ωρα.Οι Panx Romana ειναι γνωστοι οχι μονο για τη μουσικη αλλα και για την ακτιβιστικη δραση τους σε ολη την Ελλαδα και στα Βαλκανια.

At 12.15 came the moment we were all waiting for.The Dead Kennedys came on stage and started to bombing us with riffs and solos.The singer Ron Skip Greer is not Jello Biafra but he is fantastic and gave a terrific performance in singing and communicating with the audience.The rest of the band although the passing of the years have showed that they can manage it very well.East Bay Ray was playing the riffs and solos like a machine gun Klaus Flouride Aka Geoffrey Lyal was shaking us with his bass and D.H. Pelligro was rumbling the place with his turns and fast drums.At the end of the concert they came to the fans gave waters, sighed autographs, took photos with the fans and showed how simple people they are.Personally i had very interesting talks with all the members of the band.Us for their sense of humor:Endless limitless.For the end i will say it was a concert we was all dreaming and waiting for 35 years and worth it.And as they said humorous Too old to rock n roll too old to live!!!

Στις 22.15 περιπου ηρθε η στιγμη που περιμεναμε ολοι.Οι Dead Kennedys ανεβηκαν δυναμικα στη σκηνη και αρχισαν να μας βομβαρδιζουν με ακορντα και σολα.Ο νεος τραγουδιστης Ron "Skip" Greer μπορει να μην ειναι Jello Biafra αλλα τα πηγε καταπληκτικα και στο τραγουδι και στην επικοινωνια με το κοινο και στα σκετσακια που επαιξε.Οι υπολοιποι παρα το περασμα των χρονων εδειξαν οτι μπορουν να τα καταφερουν πολυ καλα.Ο East Bay Ray εριχνε ριφ και σολα σαν πολυβολο,ο Klaus Flouride μας ταρακουνησε με το ξερο και στακατο μπασο του οσο για τον D.H. Peligro εσεισε τον χωρο με τα γυρισματα στα τυμπανα και τον ασταματητο ρυθμο του.Στο τελος της συναυλιας κατεβηκαν ολοι στον κοσμο μας κερασαν νερα, υπογραψαν αυτογραφα,εβγαλαν φωτο με τους φαν ολων των ηλικιων και μας εδειξαν ποσο απλοι και ακομπλεξαριστοι ειναι.Προσωπικα βρηκα πολυ ενδιαφερουσες τις συζητησεις με ολα τα μελη της μπαντας.Οσο για το χιουμορ τους ανεξαντλητο και αστειρευτο.
Για επιλογο θα πω πως ηταν ενα λαιβ που ονειρευομασταν και περιμεναμε 35 χρονια και αξιζε τον κοπο.Ελπιζω να επιστρεψουν συντομα.Οπως ειπαν και οι ιδιοι αστειευομενοι Too Old to rock n roll too old to live!!!
