THE FUZZTONES Live in Athens! Support Act: The Snails KYTTARO Live Club / ΚΥΤΤΑΡΟ and RUF CODE ART 24-11-2023

On Saturday 24-11-2023 The Fuzztones played at Athens Greece at KYTTARO Live Club / ΚΥΤΤΑΡΟ with support the local band The Snails

The Snails is a well known garage rock band with many years of experience and very good sound They opened the night around 21.30 and soon made all the fans in the club dancing with their fast and wild rhythm.They had a very well worked set of songs and a surprise before the end playing the song "I'm five years ahead of my time" with the bass player of The Fuzztones Eric Geevers on the vocals

Around 22.30 The Fuzztones came on the stage loud and hard with their opening theme and all the club was shaking from the noise of the fans.They played over an hour and a half a fantastic medley of their best songs with a surprise of a Cramps tribute and many of their best songs.Of course Rudi hasn't forgotten to mention his old friend Nikos Triantafilides (The famous director producer and music promoter who died so soon at his 50s) and play the song ''barking up the wrong tree" that wrote for him."The new addition on the band Marcello Salis (guitarist of The Morlocks and The Hangees) fit in perfectly with the band and had a fantastic performance along side with Eric Geevers on the blasting bass guitar Nico Secondini on the frenzic keybords and Marco Rivagli the drum master.

This time Rudi Protrudi the man behind the history of the band and also its founder had a super mood and he never stopped talking to the people making jokes and having the whole of the band in a show more like a rehearsal with good friends than a strictly "came to play a great gig and good night" performance.

''This band was never a mainstream band and never had the publicity like others bands in music industry but its still here after over 43 years with the support of the fans filling the clubs with people"

"And i am happy to see not only the good old fans and friends tonight but many young people who were born long time after the founding of the band and this give us hope , joy and strength to continue doing what we do"

Those were Rudi's words and he also added that they love Greece and the Greeks and they always feel great whenever their visit our country.Of course we love them also and want them to come here every year.All the members of the band are great simple people who are close to their fans.

I thank them a lot for the friendship that we share many years now and for the long talks we have about music and life

I want to add in the end that the sound engineer of the club Yiorgos did a great job that night and made a fantastic sound

I want to thank all the stuff of the KYTTARO Live Club for their help and support

BOOZE & GLORY Live in ATHENS!!! 31-8-23 AN club 'official'

Thurday 31 of August 2023 Booze & Glory played for the first time ever in Greece something that the fans of the band were asking for the last 13 years.The local band The Titz open the night and got the fans warmed up very fast with their fast punk rock rhythm.Many fans of the band were already in the club and waited for them to begin and the band didn't disappointed them and the rest of the crowd that was dancing with their music.The Titz have played support with a few famous bands here in Greece and they stand perfect on the stage.

Around 22.30 Mark Marlowski the leading singer and leader of Booze & Glory jumped on the stage under the furious drumming of Frank Pellegrino the heavy bass guitar of Chema Zurita and the melodic guitars of Lukasz Kahan and Paolo Paganelli.The band plays fantastic chants and melodic hymns that make the crowds singalong in every place of the planet that they play.The Athens gig was their last after a tiring tour around the world and europe with back to back gigs but that didn't stop them to play with great energy and enthousiasm asking the people to participate on singing their songs

Songs of passion, love, against fasism,songs for workers and of cousre songs about their beloved football club Westham United. Hard ,clever ,and sharp lyrics based on personal experiences or from what happens around us in the world

The crowd didn't stop singing and shout making the band to apologise for not coming here earlier and promising that they'll be back soon

I wanna thank all the friends who worked at AN club that night Harry , Nasis ,Dimitri and the promoters for their help and their support to me Many thanks to all the musicians from The Titz and of course all the members and stuff of Booze & Glory who are simple and humble and share their thoughts with the fans though they were very tired after their summer tour with continious back to back gigs

Agnostic Front xResistenciAx Against All Odds Live @AN club 'official' 13-6-2023

Last Tuesday 13 of June 2023 the pioneers and godfathers of Hardcore music Agnostic Front gave a smashing sold out gig at An Club in Athens Greece together with xResistenciAx from Georgia and Against All Odds from Greece.

xResistenciAx opened the night with their hard music and got the crowd warmed up.Strong rhythm heavy bass and powerful drums with lyrics against the system and supporting the friendship and unity of people.Very good band and fantastic persons.We talked a lot and i saw many people from the bands and the crowd that they were there, saying the best words about them.For sure we want them to come back soon.

Against All Odds the Greek band that followed on the stage gave us another heat on the chest with their hard and strong music.Fast and slower riffs were changing rapidly and made everyone jump.Very powerful band playing since 2009 and know how to get the crowd jump and dance madly.

Around 22.50 Agnostic Front got up the stage and set the packed club on fire.Vinnie Stigma started jump on the stage supported by the heavy sounds of Craig Silverman guitar the calm force of the band, Mike Gallo strong bass and Danny Lamagna busting drums.Roger Miret took the microphone and gave the beginning of a non stop sing along and dancing fantastic show.They played songs from all their 40+ carrier and we didn't want them to stop.Stigma with a jolly mood never stopped teasing the fans and his band-mates and Mike from the other end of the stage was provoking him to music instruments battle.The band was moving across the stage the whole time and that gave the fans the push to jump among them and stage diving.It was a night to remember for all of us.

Great atmosphere from everyone in the club. The members of the bands were hanging around with the fans taking thousands of fotos,the staff of the club talking with all and having fun with everyone.The promoters HARDTIMES ATHENS and everyone who worked there that night.Many thanks to all of them for their support and help to me.BOTTOM LINE WE WERE A BIG COMPANY ALL OF US AND HAD A FANTASTIC TIME

The Exploited OMIXLH Live @Gagarin 205 LIve Music Space 13-4-23

Thursday 13th of April 2023 The Exploited played at Athens at Gagarin Live Music Space with the old Greek street punk band OMIXLH

I was there early and had the chance thanks to my good friend Nasis and the promoters Punk 'n' Loud to watch the soundcheck of the bands and have a few words with Wattie the heart of The Exploited.From the soundcheck i understood that it was going to be a smashing gig from both of the bands.

Wattie and the rest of the band The Exploited Robert Halkett Stevie Cannibal and Jo Oom (Disturbance) were very excited to play in front of the Greek fans that are one of the most warm and dynamic all over the world.

Wattie told me a few words before and first he answered my question:Are Punks Dead like many people say nowadays? Punks Not Dead as long we have governments and politicians corrupted and not care for the working class Punk comes from the working class and the oppressed people.If they weren't people who believe there will be no punk,And for that Wattie wants to thank all Greek fans and the fans all over the world for their support to the band

For the end Wattie has a message to all:Every day is a new day,live for the day and be happy and of course watch and listen to The Exploited.I want to thank him and the rest of the band for the warm welcome and the talks that we had

On the music part now OMIXLH came on stage around 2125 and they were smashing and furious with fast melodic riffs and strong lyrics about politics,governments,police and life.The band exists since 1995 and they have all the fans dancing and singing at their gigs.They had a fantastic vivid performance and prepared the crowd for the upcoming chaos.

I want to thank all the guys from the band for the warm welcome and the talks we had before the gig.

AROUND 22.25 The Exploited came on stage and made the crowd of the packed club jumping and screaming.The band began to play and Wattie jumped on the stage screaming to the people.

START A WAR and the place set on fire.ALL the time of the gig the band was like a hurricane taking us all in a crazy rhythm and dance.Jo was firing flames on his drums Stevie was magestic with his guitar and backing vocals and Robert was as usual fantastic with his magnificent and crazy bass playing and his great backing vocals.They played all the historic songs of the band Dogs of war Alternative Troops of tomorrow Beat the bastards Army Life F@CK the USA Punks not dead and four songs before the ending they took us on stage to singalong Sex And Violence. Wattie had enormous energy and hasn't stop jumping and screaming and talking all the time of the gig thanking with his way the fans who love him
