On 22 of June 2022 at Release Athens Festival, Athens Greece had the first metal concert after 2 years with no music events.The gates opened at 17.00 under the hot sun and 38 degrees C temperature and the first fanatic fans went in to get a nice spot under the stage.Fans came from all over Greece and the world even from Japan.
First came on stage a new promising symphonic metal band from Greece Meden Agan with the strong voice of their lady on vocals who made all the people to turn their heads at them and give the first warm applause.
Next came on stage the powerful melodic metal band of Rhapsody Of Fire who has many Greek fans and made them cheering and dancing with the unique voice of their showman singer.1 hour of speed metal and a perfect handle of a temporary problem with the earphones of the band who were professionals and handled it perfect

At 2030 came on stage the biggest Greek Black metal of all times with thousands of fans and concerts all over the planet Rotting Christ for a concert in homeland after their great gig with Slayer on 2019.There are no words to describe the power and the smashing performance of Sakis and the rest members of the band.A big mosh pit in front of the stage showed the madness of the fans.Old and newer songs were changing with fast demonic rhythm

Manowar rushed on stage with the song Manowar and made everyone sing and scream.After about 40 minutes the famous actor James Cosmo came on stage with the sound of "Sword Of The Highlands" and performed his words with it under the cheers of the fans
Joey DeMaio came on stage and started a bass solo for the introduction of "The Revenge Οf Odysseus" under the narration of Konstantinos and Kostas Kazakos and the new song "Immortal" following for closure. When the song Warriors of the world united started the crowd begun to sing a long and with the Battle hymn later everyone was singing with the mighty voice of Eric Adams...2 hours on stage and still the voice of this 70 years old man was vibrating the place.It's fair that he is between the 3 best singers of heavy metal now.The whole show of Manowar with the big stage and the video wall with the special visual effects and all the big speakers was something special and as Joey DeMaio said the money from our ticket that payed for this fantastic concert were worthy .It was a night to remember for many years till our next meeting.

Στις 22 Ιουνιου 2022 στην Αθηνα εγινε η πρωτη Μεταλ συναυλια στα πλαισια του Release Athens Festival μετα απο σχεδον 2 χρονια χωρις μουσικα φεστιβαλ.Οι πορτες ανοιξαν στις 17.00 κατω απο τον καυτο ηλιο με 38 βαθμους κελσιου και οι πρωτοι φανατικοι ηταν εκει για να πιασουν θεση στο καγκελο.Θεατες απο ολη την Ελλαδα και τον κοσμο ακομα και απο την Ιαπωνια.
Πρωτη βγηκε στην σκηνη η υποσχομενη ελληνικη συμφωνικη μεταλ μπαντα Meden Agan που με τα δυναμικα γυναικεια φωνητικα εκανε τον κοσμο να γυρισει το κεφαλι και να τους δωσει το πρωτο ζεστο χειροκροτημα της ημερας.
Υστερα ακολουθησαν οι γνωστοι σε πολυ ελληνικο κοινο Rhapsody Of Fire που με την φωνη του τραγουδιστη τους ξεσηκωσαν γρηγορα το κοινο.1 ωρα γρηγορου μελωδικου μεταλ και επαγγελματικη αντιμετωπιση ενος μικρου προβληματος με τα ακουστικα προς το τελος που δεν χαλασε τον κοσμο και συνεχισε να χορευει μεχρι το τελος.
Στις 20.30 βγηκαν στη σκηνη οι τεραστιοι Rotting Christ για την πρωτη εμφανιση τους στην Ελλαδα μετα το 2019 με τους Slayer.Δεν υπαρχουν λογια να περιγραψω την ενεργεια και το παθος του Σακη και των αλλων μελων της μπαντας.Ξεσηκωσαν αμεσως τον κοσμο και το μεγαλο mos pit στο κεντρο της σκηνης απεδειξε ποση επιδραση εχουν στο κοινο τα τραγουδια τους.Παλια και νεα τραγουδια εναλλασονταν με δαιμονικο ρυθμο για μια ωρα..
Στις 23.00 η φωνη του Orson Welles αρχισε να δονει το χωρο και 15000 κοσμου ξεκινησαν να φωναζουν και να τραγουδουν με τους Manowar να ορμουν στη σκηνη με το κλασικο τραγουδι Manowar.Μετα απο περιπου 40 λεπτα ανεβηκε στην σκηνη ο διασημος ηθοποιος James Cosmo με το "Sword Of The Highlands" και συνεχισε να απαγγελει τα λογια του υπο των επεφημειων των οπαδων.
Ο Joey DeMaio ανεβηκε στην σκηνη για την παρουσιαση της νεας δουλειας "The Revenge Οf Odysseus" με την διηγηση του Κωνσταντινου Καζακου που ανεβηκε στην σκηνη ντυμενος σαν αρχαιος ελληνας πολεμιστης με τον Σακη διπλα του σαν μαντη και την φωνη του Κωστα Καζακου στα αρχαια ελληνικα και το νεο τραγουδι "Immortal" να ακολουθει για κλεισιμο.Αμεσως μετα αρχισε το Warriors of the world united και εκανε ολο τον κοσμο να τραγουδαει και με το Battle hymn αργοτερα ολοι ακολουθουσαν την βροντερη φωνη του Eric Adams...
2 ωρες στη σκηνη και η φωνη του 70χρονου δονουσε ολο το χωρο.Δικαια ειναι στις 3 καλυτερες φωνες μεταλ στον κοσμο.Ηταν ενα τελειο σοου με την τεραστια οθονη με τα εφε και τα γραφικα στο κεντρο τα ηχεια που γεμισαν την σκηνη και το μεγαλο μεγεθος της σκηνης να αξιζουν τα λεφτα απο το εισιτηριο μας οπως ειπε και ο Joey DeMaio Ηταν μια νυχτα που θα θυμομαστε για πολλα χρονια μεχρι την επομενη συναντηση μας
